At Esteem we recognise that we are accountable for the way we run our business and the impact it has on the wider society. That's why we set and stick to increasingly high responsibility standards for our entire business.
Green Computing
We are committed to delivering sustainable, green computing and reducing the demands that IT infrastructures place on the environment. From our own experience, we know that green computing is achievable; that it is possible to deliver the IT services users need and at the same time be environmentally responsible. We know, because we do this for ourselves and our customers. More...
The Environment
As a successful business, we also believe that we have a responsibility to minimise the overall impact of our business on the environment. We have an environmental policy that guides our actions, and we have programmes in place to keep up the momentum, such as a paper recycling scheme that saved the equivalent of 17 trees in the last year alone. We encourage car sharing and mobile working to reduce petrol emissions and we have a suggestions scheme which rewards employees for coming up with ideas which help to reduce our impact on the environment.
Charity Support
Charity support is an important part of Esteem’s commitment to the wider community and members of staff play an important role in this. In fact, our employees have a very impressive fundraising track record and together with have raised more than £55,000 on behalf of Cancer Research, The British Heart Foundation, the Samantha Dickson Research Trust, World Vision and Help the Hospices since 2003.
