After completing a degree in Computer Studies at Leeds University, Alastair started his career as a System Analyst with BT before moving into IT sales with roles at Newbury Data and Digital Equipment Corporation.

Subsequently, Alastair set up his own company Astech Corporation Ltd, which in 1995 merged with Esteem. Alastair joined Esteem’s Board of Directors as Sales Director, later moving to Commercial Director before being appointed as Group Sales & Marketing Director in 2011.  Alastair now has responsibility for ensuring that sales targets and objectives are met.

Alastair was a pioneer of Citrix technology in the UK and is recognised as the founder of the Citrix UK User Group.  He is also a member of the CBI Yorkshire and Humber Regional Council.
