Esteem Systems, one of the UK’s leading IT services providers, has been awarded a two year managed service contract by established chartered accountants, Reeves & Neylan.
The two year contract will involve 24x7 management of a Citrix and Windows based infrastructure, including pro-active support and remote monitoring designed to protect the company’s business-critical processes from the threat of downtime.
As part of the managed service contract Esteem will remotely monitor Reeves & Neylan’s IT systems to proactively pre-empt and resolve any potential problems which could affect business operations. In doing so, Esteem will ensure there is no disruption to customer service levels and provide accountants working for the organisation with uninterrupted access to client data.
By removing responsibility for the day-to-day management of the company’s IT operations, the managed service agreement with Esteem will also allow in-house IT staff at Reeves & Neylan to focus on providing core business services.
Robin Peters, Computer Development Manager of Reeves & Neylan commented: “We needed a solution which would enable our business to function efficiently and competitively without the risk presented by an IT system failure. Part of our service is to assist clients in identifying and exploiting the business opportunities available to them and to do this effectively we need uninterrupted access to our systems and data. The contract with Esteem will greatly diminish the risk to our daily business function and allow us to provide consistently high customer service.”
Reeves & Neylan was established over one hundred years ago and is ranked as one of the top forty chartered accountancy firms in the UK. The company employs nearly 200 partners and staff across London and the South of England and acts for clients throughout the United Kingdom and internationally.
