Chief Operating Officer (COO)
After completing a degree in Computer Studies at Leeds University, Alastair started his career as a System Analyst with British Telecom before moving into IT sales with roles as National Account Sales Manager with Newbury Data and UK Channel Development Manager for Digital Equipment Corporation.
Subsequently, Alastair set up his own company Astech Corporation Ltd, which in 1995 merged with Esteem. Alastair joined Esteem’s Board of Directors as Sales Director, later moving to Commercial Director with a particular focus on building alliances, maximising marketing activities and driving the sales organisation, creating new initiatives and development opportunities for the business.
In 2008 Alastair became Chief Operating Officer at Esteem, with responsibility for the day to day operational running of the business to ensure that the company achieves its operational targets and objectives.
Alastair is also a member of the CBI Yorkshire and Humber Regional Council and sits on the White Rose Grid Executive Committee.
