Esteem Scoops Prestigious Business Of The Year Award

Esteem Systems, one of the UK’s leading IT systems solutions providers, has been awarded ‘Business of the Year’ in the North East category of the prestigious National Business Awards.
The award, the top prize of 8 categories, was presented to Esteem before an audience of more than 150 business leaders and special guests at a Gala ceremony in Leeds.
The National Business Awards has a rigorous judging process whereby companies have to demonstrate commercial success and the ability to sustain that success; evidence of a strategy in place to ensure performance improvement and business innovation; and respect and compliance with business legislation, regulation, the environment and the rights of all stakeholders. Esteem outperformed the other entrants in its category on all accounts to be awarded ‘Business of the Year’.
On their decision to award Esteem with the top prize the judging panel said, “Esteem is as an exceptional organisation and has demonstrated outstanding financial return; strong growth and innovative business strategies. They are leaders in their field of expertise and are passionate about building long term relationships with both customers and suppliers.”
Recognised as an unparalleled mark of UK success and enterprise and a showcase for the nation’s achievements and innovations in business, the National Business Awards are officially acknowledged by the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Gordon Brown, as the ‘Business Oscars,’ – and it is a massive achievement to receive one of the awards.

Esteem will now be automatically entered for the ‘National Business of the Year’ category of the National Business Awards alongside nine other organisations. Judging for this award will take place in November 2003.
