Esteem Makes Bottom Line Top Priority
23 May 2003

As a result of continued investment in what is currently considered a tough market, Esteem Systems, one of the UK’s leading IT systems solutions providers has significantly strengthened its financial team.
The team consists of Tim Loughlin, recruited to the role of Finance Director, Lisa Marshall, recruited as Credit Control Manager and Simon Green, promoted to Finance Manager.
Tim joins Esteem from his previous role as Finance Director for both Supanet and The Internexus Group where he played a key role in developing these internet start-ups into profitable organisations within three years. Tim brings with him almost 16 years experience, working previously for companies such as BUPA Care Service, Railtrack and La Redoute SA. A major part of Tim’s role will be the commercial assessment of potential acquisitions as Esteem seeks to capitalise on its current strength in the market and to ensure Esteem continues to grow profitably. Additional responsibilities for Tim will include the management of Esteem’s finance, order processing and logistics, administration and HR teams.
Lisa Marshall joins the team from John Smith’s Brewery, where she was originally employed as a trainee and worked her way up the company through roles in Commercial Lending and Credit Control. In her new role, Lisa will be tasked with strengthening Esteem’s working capital management.
After spending three years as a Reporting Accountant at Esteem, Simon Green’s promotion to Finance Manager will see him take charge of the company’s accounts payable and financial analysis teams. In his new role Simon will also become more involved in implementing new procedures to fulfil the changing requirements of Esteem as a business. This will be the third time Simon and Tim have worked together having both worked previously for Bupa and Deloitte & Touche in Leeds.
Commenting on the new team, Tim Loughlin said: “I am delighted to be working for a company with such a bright future ahead of it. Esteem is an ambitious organisation and this new team has the necessary skills to support this ambition.”
