Esteem Wins Website Of The Year Award

Esteem Systems, one of the UK’s leading IT services providers, has won the Best Business to Business Website Award at the Yorkshire Internet Awards 2004.
The annual awards, which are sponsored by Yorkshire Forward, have eight categories and are designed to acknowledge and promote companies in Yorkshire and Humberside that demonstrate Internet excellence.
The Best Business to Business category aims to identify organisations that achieve a successful and rewarding level of communication with their target audiences using the Internet. It also assesses businesses by reviewing the range of online services provided; investigating how well the website is integrated into business practice and analysing how the website contributes toward generating new business. Esteem’s website was highly commended in all of these areas and was described by the judges as: 'A website aimed at giving the company's customers added value - an objective that is certainly achieved. Easy to navigate; innovative and full of useful features. We particularly liked the use of customer video testimonials.’
Esteem’s new website went live in January 2003. Since then, it has directly generated several hundred thousands of pounds of orders from on-line enquiries. The website also provides a wealth of detailed product and solution information containing thousands of up to the minute prices and specifications.

Esteem’s website was developed in conjunction with Wetherby-based, NetConstruct, a multi-disciplinary supplier of bespoke web-based IT solutions for use over intranets and the Internet.
