BT Choose Esteem Systems As Preferred Partner For Major Citrix Contract

Esteem Systems, one of the UK’s leading IT services providers, will deliver all Citrix software, services and support for BT plc after being selected as their preferred partner.
The telecomms giant selected Esteem after its central procurement department tendered out the contract for provision of their access infrastructure solution. The deal will simplify the way BT manages and supports the delivery of Citrix technology to users across the world.
Citrix software is used by many of BT’s, workforce of more than 100,000 staff and allows fast, secure access to key business applications. Call centre staff in the UK and India; field engineers using mobile devices; and office based staff using PC terminals, all use the Citrix access solution, increasing flexibility and efficiency across the business. It also allows strategic partners and customers to access shared information in a secure environment.
BT has also recently introduced Citrix Go-To-Assist in its Consumer Broadband technical helpdesks in both India and in the UK. This allows BT’s advisors to take control of the customer’s PC and remotely fix configuration issues. The service has been well received by BT’s customers, creating genuine “Wow factor” from the customer service experience.
BT previously used a number of companies to provide Citrix solutions but will now deal solely with Esteem Systems. This allows BT to have a dedicated IT support team for the whole group and ensures all its licences are managed centrally.
Esteem Systems were one of the first UK IT companies to be recognised as a Citrix Platinum Partner and is a Citrix Authorised Support Centre. The company has a long established relationship with BT having provided their first Citrix solution over ten years ago.
