Esteem Systems Celebrates Record Financial Performance For 2007
18 December 2007
Esteem Systems is firmly establishing itself as one of the UK’s fastest growing IT services providers, with its latest financial results showing a sales increase of 39 per cent to £35.4 million and gross profit rising by 31 per cent to £10.6 million.
Operating profits for its financial year ending 30 June 2007 increased by 71 per cent to £3.8 million. Significant growth in consulting and managed services contributed to Esteem’s strong financial performance.
Esteem anticipates continued growth in the year to come from consulting and managed services similar to those provided to The Nottingham Building Society and Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council, where Esteem is implementing a £2.1 million contract to support its IT infrastructure. Other key areas which offer Esteem significant growth opportunities include the financial services and construction markets; the NHS Connecting for Health programme; and Building Schools for the Future in the education sector.
Joe Connolly, CEO of Esteem, comments, “This has been a record year for Esteem. In addition to exceptional financial performance we’ve expanded our services portfolio and now provide full managed services. This gives us a strong base to build on for the future. In line with our mission statement, we’ve continued to invest in our skilled workforce, expanding our team and renewing our Investors in People accreditation in the last year.”
Throughout the financial year, Esteem has celebrated a number of significant achievements including recognition from NetApp as ‘Best New Partner’ and Sun Microsystems as ‘Reseller of the Year’.
