Earlier this year, Citrix announced the latest release of its XenMobile enterprise mobility management solution – XenMobile 10.
XenMobile 10 promises advanced security features and integration for Microsoft Outlook between desktops and mobile devices, responding to the growing demand for solutions which enable mobile working, whilst maintaining security and simplifying mobile device management (MDM).
Terry Hooper, Esteem’s End User Computing Practice Lead, said: “With the release of XenMobile 10, Citrix have combined both Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management Controller (MAM) into a single XenMobile Server. By integrating both components into one server enables the initial deployment to be simpler and less complex to set up.
XenMobile 10 also allows for management of both applications and devices to be from one system, as well as a number of new features including the integration between WorxNotes and Microsoft Exchange, RSA authentication and FIPS 140.2 advanced encryption.”
