Following the huge success of last year, our Esteem Easter bunnies have once again been dashing around supermarkets across the country, collecting 250 Easter eggs for charity, effectively one from every Esteem employee. A huge thank you goes to our brilliant team, Jane Randall, Claire McNeil, Alan Skinner, Dave Newlands, James Shakesheff, Andrew Southall and Jo Smart who delivered the chocolate eggs to our chosen charities:
Sheffield – Sheffield Children’s Hospital – Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust is one of only four dedicated children’s hospital trusts in the UK providing integrated healthcare for children and young people, including community & mental health care and acute and specialist services.
Glasgow – Bumblebee Babies – provide equipment funding for terminally ill children in Scotland. Bumblebee also help struggling parents with funeral costs for lost children and babies born too soon.
Woking – Shooting Star Chase – With hospice locations in Hampton and Guildford, Shooting Star Chase is a leading children’s hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions.
Aberdeen – (donation split between 2 charities). Sunrise Partnership – a free, confidential service for children and young people who have been affected by loss and bereavement. Home-Start Kincardine – a voluntary organisation committed to offering support to family life in difficult circumstances.
Wetherby – Martin House Children’s Hospice – based in Boston Spa, Martin House help children and young people with a life-limiting condition to live well and fully, offering the best possible end of life care and support to the family in bereavement.
Great work team!
