Organisations could be paying more than necessary for IT Maintenance according to a new whitepaper published this week by Esteem Systems.
IT Maintenance is a necessary investment for most organisations. Ensuring IT systems are covered by maintenance agreements is essential to keeping business critical systems running and reducing the risk of IT down time.
However, many organisations are unaware of simple ways in which they can reduce the cost of their IT maintenance. Within the whitepaper, Esteem’s tips for reducing IT maintenance costs include establishing longer term contracts, re-evaluating levels of cover and analysing call rates.
Joe Connolly, CEO at Esteem says, “When it comes to IT maintenance, many organisations tend to stick with manufacturer’s warranty as standard, rather than exploring the alternatives. We believe that organisations can improve the level of service and reduce costs by evaluating what they’re paying for.
"At Esteem, we make sure service fits with our customers’ needs, ensuring they get value for money at all times. We hope that this whitepaper will provide useful tips on how to reduce IT maintenance costs.”
Esteem is a specialist maintenance services provider for IT infrastructures, helping organisations that rely on IT by designing, implementing and managing IT systems on their behalf.
